Orchids, Kunstformen der Natur, Haekel - the Anglerfish

This weekend it’s coming up orchids… for the 67th year in a row.

Detail from the beautiful Kunstformen der Natur, by Ernst Haeckel, c. 1899-1904 [public domain, source].

This week’s Curator: Annetta Black of Odd Salon

There are strange trends out there this week: flowers, bio-science, augmented realities, and the art of neon – from a massing of exotic orchids to questions of how citizen science can improve the human condition, looks at the city’s past through neon arts and playful Cacophony and the future of augmented reality for theatrical endeavors and ancient artifacts.

Thanks for reading The Anglerfish! Please find and follow us on @ & FB, and be sure to subscribe to our weekly dispatch via email.
