2018 SF Tweed Ride
Get your tweed on, add a couple wheels, and join the woolly mass as it rides once again this Sunday. For about a decade a rare breed of cyclist, who value dapper attire over Strava points, have congressed en masse just for the tweed of it. Your velo may not be vintage and your tweed can be head to toe or just in patches—though making an effort is appreciated and expected. It’s not a race, it’s a journey; which starts at Duboce Park and wanders from there into the wondrous. Always in style as photos from last year make manifest.
SUN NOV. 11: Noon; Duboce Park (Mission, SF) Free

Wonder Women (a walking tour)
A free walking tour of highlighting some of San Francisco finest femmes of all time: artists, pioneers, revolutionaries, politicians, entertainers, and more. The path will span North Beach, the Financial District, and the Embarcadero; the path is mostly flat, spanning 2.5 miles at a leisurely historian’s pace. NOTE: places are limited, so RSVP on Facebook by Friday, Nov 9th to reserve a spot. Some walks-ups may be available.
SUN NOV. 11:  1PM; Washington Square Park (North Beach, SF); Free (but RSVP!)

Final Dub Mission at The Elbo Room
For 22 years there’s been an echo onna Sunday upstairs at The Elbo Room. Legendary reggae and dub performers of every stripe from around the world have dropped in over the years to mix with DJ Sep and local guests. But this week is your last to say you went there when because the bar itself will be closed by Jan 1; another legendary San Francisco watering hole evaporated in SF’s 21st century hot real estate market. Dub Mission continues, migration style, with a newsletter, and resident DJs spinning in support of visiting acts like Lee Scratch Perry and Kruder & Dorfmeister
Sun NOV. 11: 9:30PM; The Elbo Room (Mission, SF); $8
